Problem of a jet flowing into the surface of a heavy fluid

This paper is a continuation of [1]. The problem of the nonuniqueness of the angle of incidence of a fine jet into water is considered and the mathematical formulation of the problem is improved. A diagram of the flow is shown in Fig. 1.; the jet is an inviscid, incompressible, weightless fluid of density₁ flowing from a nozzle onto the surface of a still heavier fluid of density₂.
