| Abstract: | The electric field gradient (EFG) at57Fe in titanium is measured using Mössbauer spectroscopy in the temperature range 80°–380°K. The value of EFG obtained at room temperature is 0.53(4)×1017 V/cm2. The value of EFG obtained is compared with the conduction electron charge shift model. |
