Abstract:The welding process of KTX vacuum vessel support was designed and then the distributions of welding temperature field and residual stress field were calculated through FE method. The strength of welding joints was assessed by a method combining the theoretical analysis and FE analysis. The analysis results verified the reliability of the welding structure and provided theoretical basis for the welding process of vacuum vessel support structures.
