A Novel Approach to solve the Optimal Dual Window of Discrete Gabor Expansion

This paper proposed a novel approach to solve the optimal dual window sequence of the discrete Gabor expansion. We will first give a derivation of the discrete Gabor expansion and show the relationships between the continuous and discrete Gabor expansion. On the basis of these relationships, we will give an expression to compute the optimal dual window sequence. Numerical examples are given.
