Abstract:Hydrophones with low acceleration sensitivity is expected in towed sonar array in order to detect acoustical pressure correctly while towed in the water.The experiment results of FBG hydrophones with low acceleration sensitivity and high acoustical pressure sensitivity are presented.The acoustical pressure sensitivity of the FBG hydrophone is about-140 dBrad/μPa and flat responsivity has been achieved over the frequency range of 25 to 6300 Hz with fluctuation less than ±1.5 dB.The acceleration sensitivity is not greater than-30 dBrad/g over the frequency range of 25 to 1 000 Hz.
