| Abstract: | The analytical use of the manganese(II)-catalysed oxidation of Malachite Green by sodium periodate has been evaluated by using the stopped-flow technique for the mixing of sample and reagents. Compared with its batch and flow-injection analysis counterparts, the proposed approach offers greater sensitivity, versatility and sample throughput, and greater selectivity than flow-injection analysis. |
