| Abstract: | The determination of vanadium(V) and molybdenum(VI) by a Landolt-type reaction with bromate, iodide and ascorbic acid is reported. For the determination of vanadium(V) the molybdenum(VI) is masked with citrate-citric acid buffer, which also controls the pH. Molybdenum(VI) is determined in the presence of thiourea as masking agent for vanadium(V). |
