| Abstract: | It is suggested that the pressure dependence of the electron-phonon coupling, λ, and the normal state temperature derivative of resistivity, d?/dT, are related by the simple expression d ln λ/dp=d ln (d?/dT)/dp. Published results support this relation for Al and Pb. |
