| Abstract: | From 13C-7 labeled toluene the following 13C-methyl o- and p-substituted toluenes were synthesized: o-NO2, -NH2, -I and ? CN; p-NO2 and -NH2. Each of these labeled compounds was studied by carbon magnetic resonance to determine all carbon-13? carbon-13 splittings involving the methyl carbon. |
