| Abstract: | Herein, we report the use of triisopropyl phosphite (TIP) as an effective substitute for triphenylphosphine in the Mitsunobu reaction of nucleoside analogs. In addition, the use of triphenyl phosphite as an alternative reagent for the expensive hexamethylphosphorous triamide (HMPT) in the Véliz-Beal bromination protocol is reported. |
