The space of strong types and an open map theorem

Abstract:	We define a new topology on the space of strong types on a subsetA of a model of a given theory and prove that either $left\| {S_P^ * (A)} right\|< aleph _0 or left\| {S_P^ * (A)} right\| geqslant 2^{aleph _0 }$ . We also deduce an open map theorem.
