| Abstract: | The paper describes the result of the measurements of the intensity and polarisation of fluorescence of dyestuffs in solution and their conductivities at different concentrations. From the nature of the variation of the intensity, polarisation and conductivity with concentration it has been suggested that the quenching of fluorescence of dyes in solution is due to the collision of the second kind. |
