Abstract:	The selective transformation of trialkylboranes or B-alkyl-9-borabicyclo3.3.1]-nonanes to alkylmagnesium bromides was accomplished upon treatment with pentane-1,5-di(magnesium bromide) ( $1$ ) in benzene.
