| Abstract: | The photoisomerization of the 1,2-diphenylcyclopropanes in polar solvent sensitized by 1-cyano- and 1,4-dicyanonaphthalene proceeds via an electron-transfer mechanism. An analysis of photo-CIDNP results provide details regarding the intermediates. |
