Synthese und oxidation von 7-trifluormethylthiocycloheptatrien

Tropyliumbromide ($\text{1}$) reacts with AgSCF₃ to form 7-Trifluoromethylthiocycloheptatriene ($\text{6}$), which on oxidation with p-nitroperbenzoic acid does not form 7-Triflouromethylsulfonylcycloheptatriene ($\text{3a}$) but the trifluoromethylsulfinate ($\text{4a}$).
