| Abstract: | A formal synthesis of schulzeines B and C, marine natural products with inhibitory effect against α-glucosidase, has been achieved. The key reactions of the synthesis are N-acyliminium ion cyclization, Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation, olefin cross metathesis, and asymmetric allylboration. |
