An Order-oriented Procedure Model for A Robust and Agile Production System

摘    要:The manufacturing industry in 1990's is faced with se-vere challenge among the global competition for mar-kets.Production for a small quantity and high varietyeven lot-sizes of one-digit numbers products has be-come a main trend today.Traditional production proce-dure limits the flexibility of the production system.Inthis paper,based on the analysis of the procedure charac-teristics,a design strategy for re-usage of informationand resource is introduced,and an order-oriented pro-cedure model with concurrent,hierarchical and micro-cycle structure for a robust and agile production systemis proposed in order to realize flexible and adaptive pro-duction for dynamically-changing orders.

Abstract:The manufacturing industry in 1990's Is faced with severe challenge among the global competition for markets . Production for a small quantity and high variety even lot - sizes of one - digit numbers products has become a main trend today. Traditional production procedure limits the flexibility of the production system. In this paper,based on the analysis of the procedure characteristics, a design strategy for re - usage of information and resource is introduced, and an order - oriented procedure model with concurrent, hierarchical and micro -cycle structure for a robust and agile production system is proposed in order to realize flexible and adaptive production for dynamically - changing orders.
