Highly selective reduction of nitrobenzenes to azoxybenzenes with a copper catalyst

Abstract:A convenient protocol for highly selective delivery of azoxybenzenes from reduction of nitrobenzenes was developed by utilizing a copper catalyst. A variety of functional groups and substitution were well tolerated.
