| Abstract: | Through the self‐condensation of α‐amino aldehydes, the synthesis of symmetrical disubstituted pyrazines was achieved in a three‐step one‐pot reaction. The α‐amino aldehydes were easily obtained by treating methyl esters of natural α‐amino acids with diisobutylaluminium hydride. |
