On the icosahedral quasicrystal structure |

| Abstract: | The icosahedral quasicrystal structure is derived with local symmetry operations. Calculated Fourier transforms are compared with electron diffraction patterns. It is proposed that the structure building operations are models for the crystal growing process. |
