| Abstract: | The determination of oxygen (0.001–0.2%) in iron and steel by the fast neutron activation method was investigated. The relative standard deviations of the method at oxygen levels of 0.1, 0.01, and 0.001%, were 3, 5, and 30%, respectively. The analytical results of the method were in good agreement with those of the conventional method in the range stated. |
