The determination of nickel,cobalt, iron and zinc in ferrites

An anion exchange technique has been developed for the determination of iron, nickel, cobalt and zinc in a ferrite type material. The constituents are separated by utilizing the difference in the adsorption of the chloride complexes on a strongly basic anion exchange resin. Each constituent is determined by the back titration of an excess of EDTA with a standard copper solution, using PAN as an indicator.
