| Abstract: | A very simple method has been established for the rapid determination of copper, employing the formation of the chlorocupric anion by means of concentrated hydrochloric acid. The absorption of the chlorocupric anion is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 950 mμ. The method is applicable to a wide variety of samples, including many non-ferrous alloys. |
