| Abstract: | The method proposed is suitable for a quick routine determination of small amounts of vanadium in certain ores and steel. The interference of chromium in the final determination of vanadium using the ultraviolet spectra was eliminated by the use of an ion-exchange resin. Reproduceability of results was found to be acceptable for a colorimetric method. |
