| Abstract: | The spectrophotometric determination of magnesium in the presence of large amounts of zinc is described. Zinc as well as some other interfering metals are removed by mercury cathode electrolysis and aluminium is removed by a chloroform extraction with 8-hydroxyquinoline. |
