| Abstract: | Eleven new limonoids, meliarachins A–K ( 1 – 11 , resp.), together with five known ones, were isolated from the twigs and leaves of Melia azedarach. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 4 and 8 exhibited moderate antibacterial activities against Gram‐positive bacteria. |
