| Abstract: | The objective of this investigation was to develop a rapid and accurate method for the determination of zinc in plant materials. An ion-exchange separation technique to eliminate interferences in the Zincon procedure for zinc is described. Comparison with the A.O.A.C. method and evaluation of zinc recovery studies show the proposed method to be satisfactory for the analysis of microgram amounts of zinc in plant materials. |
