| Abstract: | A new approach to activation analysis is described. Chemical yield determinations are avoided by selective extraction of the required element in conjunction with the standard addition technique. The principle and its application to the determination of traces of uranium in aluminium and the standard granite (G-1) are given. The advantages of this method are its simplicity and rapidity. |
