| Abstract: | Basing upon the ODMR (optically detected magnetic resonance) measurements on the so-called iron-red (Fe-R) luminescence in ZnS it is shown that the emission is due to the radiative capture of either free or weakly bound electron by substitutional Fe3+ associated with an unknown defect residing in n.n. Zn position. |
