Study of thermal and optical properties of SiO2/GaN opals by photothermal deflection technique

Abstract:In this paper the thermal and optical properties of the SiO2/GaN synthetic opals are studied by photothermal deflection technique. This technique, used in different configurations, allows to determine the effective thermal diffusivity and the absorption spectra.
