Abstract:Aiming to apply the metamaterial structure to the antenna,a tri-band printed monopole antenna is proposed which uses Negative Refractive Index Transmission Line(NRI-TL) metameterial loading.The monopole is consisted of a nonuniform meander-line,feeding by Coplanar Waveguide(CPW).The meander-line and the metameterial loading can be modeled as a folded monopole at 2.45 GHz and 5.5 GHz,while the metameterial loading changes the direction of the surface current across the antenna around 3.55 GHz.Thus,it can inc...
