Abstract: | This paper deals with a competition model between two species for two growth-limiting and perfectly complementary resources in the unstirred chemostat. The main purpose is to determine the exact range of the parameters of two species so that the system possesses positive solutions, and to investigate multiple positive steady states of the system. The main tools used here include the monotone methods and the topological fixed point theory developed by Amann. |
