Abstract: | Summary Ternary complexes of copper(II) with diethylenetriamine (dien), together with monodentate ligands, including -amino acid esters, were studied using potentiometric and conductometric techniques. The formation constants of the resulting binary and ternary complexes were determined. The kinetics of the base hydrolysis of the above esters in the presence of copper(II)-dien complex were studied at 30°C. The rate and catalysis constants were estimated. |
