| Abstract: | The kinetics and mechanism of water oxidation with cerium(IV) compounds catalyzed by a tetranuclear ruthenium complex containing two polyoxotungstate ligands are reported. Four water molecules are oxidized via an eight-electron process to form two oxygen molecules. |
