| Abstract: | The interaction between electron beam and RF fields of H811  -mode in an eighth harmonic cusptron at f0=35GHz is studied numerically. The finite thickness and eccentricity of a rotating annular electron beam and the cusp magnetic field in the imbalance case (Bc –B0) are considered in the mumerical calculation. The results show that these pratical factors have a great influence upon the electron efficieency. |
