The theory of thermionic conductivity in alkaline halide crystals

The kinetic equations developed by the authors are used to explain the phenomenon of thermionic conductivity. The relaxation of A- and K-dipoles in strong fields is considered. The binding energy of the polar complexes is investigated within the framework of elasticity theory.
