| Abstract: | The auxiliary word ＂Sae＂ in Japanese has been always categorized to express the meaning of ＂unexpectedness＂ by linguists.However,this meaning is too general.It is of important theoretical value to the Japanese learners,who take Japanese as the first or second language,to understand the process of its grammaticalization,its grammatical features and its connotation. |
