| Abstract: | A method for approximate analytic evaluation of distorted-wave matrix elements for inverse power potentials is presented. Preliminary results are very encouraging. The method is computationally extremely fast and, with the exponential distorted-wave approximation, should make it possible to solve many currently intractable molecular collision problems. |
