| Abstract: | Diphenyl (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)phosphonate was oxidized to the corresponding methylidenequinonoid derivative. The addition of phenols to the exocyclic double bond of this compound gave phosphonates with two phenol moieties. |
