| Abstract: | The addition of N-chloro-N-methoxy-tert-alkylamines to an olefin, which is assumed to proceed with the participation of alkoxynitrenium ions, was carried out for the first time. The methanolysis of N-chloro-N-alkoxy-tert-alkylamines in the presence of Et3N gives dialkoxyamines, and depending on the type of the N-alkyl substituent is accompanied by side reactions.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 5, pp. 1069–1072, May, 1991. |
