摘    要:通用成帧规程GFP、VC虚级联和链路容量调整机制LCAS是有效实现Data over SDH(DoS)的新型协议。基于此运营商可以实现网络带宽的动态分配响应。通过分析LCAS的特点、结构和功能实现方式,指出其作为一种源-宿之间无损伤的改变虚级联组容量大小的握手信令协议,其服务可以建立在集中或分布式控制基础上。特别分析了结合基于GMPLS/ASTN的智能化控制平面,LCAS将进一步拓展BoD应用。

Abstract:Built on the powerful combination of GFP.virtual concatenation and the link-capacity adjustment scheme (LCAS), network operators can allow adjust pipe capacity to match the abilities of bandwidth on demand(BoD). This paper mainly described the characteristics and model of functional realization of LCAS.LCAS is an end-to-end handshake mechanism that allows the source and destination to coordinate the addition or deletion of a channel from a group of virtually concatenated channels as needed, without interrupting customer traffic. LCAS also assumes that the required additional channels and the construction of the end-to-end path is is done either by a management plane or by a distributed control plane. So this article also analyses with the GMPLS/ASTN control planes for next-generation SDH network will improving LCAS operation for BoD service.
