| Abstract: | We have investigated the photoluminescence of zinc sulfide single crystals doped with manganese and obtained from a melt under a pressure of argon. The structure of the crystals is the microtwin of sphalerite with a great number of packing defects. It is shown that the radiation spectrum consists of several individual overlapping bands, fundamental of which are the bands with maxima at 557, 578, 600, and 637 nm. |
