| Abstract: | Abstract Hydrogels in solutions can reversibly swell and collapse with small changes in the process conditions. In this paper we focus on using this characteristic as a purification device. The gels prove to be effective and gentle substitutes for ultrafiltration membranes for the purification of sensitive products such as biomaterials. |
