| Abstract: | A method is described for the preparation of  -(3-indolyl)acrolein. Oximation of this followed by dehydration gives -(3-indolyl)acrylonitrile. Reduction gives  -(3-indolyl)allyl alcohol.For part XXXII, see [1]. |
