摘    要:设计出了一款应用于时序彩色法硅覆液晶微型投影机的大功率、高亮度LED驱动电源。由于采用的大功率LED芯片内部单元为并联连接,故驱动电流达10A。为了满足此要求,文章结合直流变直流(DC/DC)电源设计思路,设计出了可用脉宽调制信号调控的恒流源。实验结果显示:该恒流源能够精确地输出10A恒定电流,而且纹波小,开关迅速、彻底,完全符合CS-LCoS微型投影机中LED光源对驱动电源的要求。

Abstract:A high-power and high-brightness LED driver is developed for Color Sequential Liquid-Crystal-on-Silicon mini-projector.The LED chips are arranged in parallel due to the tendue requirement of the illumination system.However,the driving current can be around 10 A,which increases the design complexity of the LED driver.In order to solve this problem,a constant current source is developed,which is controlled by Pulse Width Modulation.The experimental results show that the driver can supply constant 10 A current with reaso-nable ripple wave and fast response character,which agrees well with the requirement of LED source.
