Abstract:
ESEM measurements on the cation of cyclohexane stabilised in halocarbon matrices have been performed at 4.2 K. The results show that hyperfine interaction with fluorine matrix nuclei can be quite large or very small depending on the chosen matrix. No modulations from chlorine nuclei have been detected, probably due to the large quadrupole constant of chlorine. Dipolar tensors have been calculated and compared with the experimental results.
