Wasserstoff-wanderungen in organometall-verbindungen: Die thermisch induzierte isomerisierung des (η-cyclopentadienyl)(η-1,1-dimethylallyl)(η-isopren)-zirconiums

Treatment of CpZrCl₃ with 3-methylbutenyl-Grignard reagent yields thermally labile tris(1,1-dimethylallyl) ZrCp (6), which is slowly decomposed (5d) at −15°C to give (η-cyclopentadienyl)(η³-1,1-dimethylallyl)(η⁴-isoprene)zirconium (7), which is thermally unstable; with a half-live of 43 h at 20°C it rearranges to the η₃-1,2-dimethylallyl isomer and an (isoprene) zirconium hydride is proposed as the intermediate for this hydrogen-migration reaction.
