Raman Spectroscopy Study on Carbon Anode Materials for Lithium ion Cells
Abstract:Abstract Raman spectra and discharge characteristics of three carbon anode materials, the thermal decomposition products of polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF C), the acetylene black (AB) and the active carbon fiber (ACF) were examined. The results are shown that the difference for the discharge characteristics between these materials arises from the degree of the random orientation in the carbon, and amorphous hard carbon is more suitable material for the anode active material of lithium ion secondary batteries than other carbon materials.
