| Abstract: | ith diantipyryl methahe(DAM)as thechromogenic reagent,a method for the simul-taneous determination of Ti and Fe was devel-oped.Since the absorption spectra of Ti-DAMand Fe-DAM were seriously overlapped, twochemometric methods,partial least squares anddual-wavelength K factor methods were em-ployed.The methods were applied to the anal-vsis of Ti and Fe in alumina and ferrotitaniummineral samples , satisfactory resuIts were ob-tained. |
