| Abstract: | Reactions of 3,6-dipentyloxy- and 3,6-didecyloxyphthalonitriles with lithium pentoxide in pentan-1-ol were studied. 3,6-Didecyloxyphthalonitrile can be used for the preparation of both the corresponding octasubstituted phthalocyanines and phthalocyanines of the ABAB type. |
